Welded nuts also belong to the large family of nuts and have a very special range to fulfil. The claim of a Welded nuts made of metal is a very special one, because these nuts have only one purpose, which we would like to explain to you in more detail later. Furthermore, we would like to tell you where Welded nuts made of steel or stainless steel can be used everywhere and especially which materials are used to manufacture these nuts. The industry needs in today's modern times, a variety of different welding nuts of all types and threaded holes. In private areas these fasteners are rarely found, because they can only be used in combination with welding. Let us start by describing the nuts in more detail. This nut is usually always designed to have a square outer contour. This shape is simple and has the advantage that it can be inserted on edges or in corners. On the top side, the Welded nuts made of metal is constructed so that it has a slight curvature. The underside is usually smooth or has slightly protruding edges at the corners, which lift the Welded nuts slightly when it is put on. In the middle this nut has a threaded hole, which is equipped with the respective thread diameter. This description is a standard Welded nuts. There are of course also other forms of Welded nuts, which are for example also shaped in such a way that they resemble a bolt and have a plate attached to one end face. The stud of this Welded nuts is designed so that it has an internal thread. Welded nuts are generally used on thin-walled metal sheets. It is the case that no thread can be cut into thin-walled metal sheets, so that the strength for the few threads in the sheet would not be sufficient to install a screw firmly. So Welded nuts can be easily placed on the sheet metal and then a weld seam can be welded in the middle. This connection is highly stable when the direction of the load is in the direction of the sheet metal! Once the Welded nuts is in place, the hole must be drilled through the sheet metal and the thread must be cut through after welding. The materials used for Welded nuts are always bare steel or, increasingly, stainless steel in the V2A or V4A alloy. These stainless steel alloys are non-rusting and also intended for stainless steels. Welding on must also be carried out using a stainless steel wire.
Our stock program of welded nuts - buy online in our online shop
Welded nuts can be found today in thousands in all sheet metal processing companies and therefore the demand for such materials has increased and the market has to withstand the increasing demand. Of course, not only Welded nuts in stainless steel and square steel are used, but also weld nuts in a hexagonal design are often found in sheet metal working companies. When we started out and entered the world of fasteners, we started then and in the beginning we only dealt with the standard products, which included most of the nuts and bolts for standard use. These included cap screws and normal hexagon nuts. But also in this area our customers asked us if we could extend our stock of welding nuts, so that when ordering in our online shop, all other products could be ordered from us as well. We followed this demand and found a supplier for Welded nuts, who is still able to supply us with high quality nuts in large quantities. So we offer our customers from Germany and the rest of Europe the possibility to buy their welding nuts quickly and easily in our online shop and have these parts sent to their home or to your company. To ensure that the purchase is secure, we have decided to convert the entire website to the secure SSL certificate and thus protect your data even better. While we are already on the subject of security, we would also like to tell you how an order process in our online shop can be carried out so that you can quickly receive your goods. Surely you have also joined us via a search engine and your search for your Welded nuts and have found the products you need. Now put all products together and put them into the shopping cart. Afterwards you can directly create your customer account and enter all necessary data for a purchase. If you would then like to complete your purchase, simply follow the instructions of the shop system and select the best payment method for you. Now pay the outstanding amount and afterwards you will receive an order confirmation by email, so that you can see exactly which Welded nuts you have ordered from us and in which quantity.
The production of welded nuts
Today, many people work with welded nuts in the manufacture of sheet metal parts in order to be able to attach fixed screw connections so that they do not tear out of the thin sheet metal later on. This task is effectively performed by welded nuts made of metal, steel or stainless steel. However, as with all other nuts, these nuts must first be manufactured. For this purpose, the most modern machines are used today, which are called CNC lathes or CNC screw machines. These lathes are equipped in such a way that they are fitted with a loader, or a drum holder for the endless material as hexagonal material. More often, however, the normal loader is used, which corresponds directly with the CNC machine. In this loader, the bars are fed into the machine as hexagonal material and are gradually drawn into the machine as individual bars to be machined as welded nuts. Once the CNC program is loaded, the start of production can be initiated. First the hexagonal bar is fed into the machine and the chuck. Then a center hole is placed. Now the core hole is drilled. If this process is completed during the production of the welded nuts, the second step follows, which is the cutting of the thread. If this process is also completed, the chamfering can be carried out and the undercutting can take place. If the square nut is now ready, it can be cut off. This is done with a chisel. Now the nut is almost finished and only needs to be deburred. Afterwards the stainless steel welded nuts falls into the collection container and is collected with the other nuts. When all is finished, everything can be freed from oil residues and stored in our warehouse. If we receive an order from you, we can pack your welded nuts together and send them to you. After a few days you should have the order in your hands.
