Rope clamps Are stirrup clamps that are intended to connect rope ends or loops securely and detachably. The rope clamps are placed around the rope and tightened with a nut. Steel or stainless steel is used for the manufacture of rope clamps.
Surely you have asked yourself what exactly are rope clamps made of steel or stainless steel? And, of course, the question of what such rope clamps are used for comes up immediately afterwards? In this article we would like to tell you all about the different types of stainless steel rope clamps (V2A and V4A) and address many other questions. These include the questions of how to mount rope clamps correctly and also what our stock range looks like. The last paragraph should deal with how rope clamps can be produced in a wide range of manufacturing options. But we would like to start with how a rope clamp can be constructed. There are basically two types of rope clamps. One is the rope clamp, which consists of a housing and can hold two rope ends through a wall edge. In the middle there is a threaded rod over which the tensioning plate is suspended. By applying a nut, only the rope can be tensioned by the rope clamp. Once enough pressure has been built up, it is no longer possible to remove the cable ends due to the resistance. The second possibility of a rope clamp is the one that can be gnawed into a base body by means of a bracket. This bracket has a corresponding thread at both ends, where the nuts can be screwed in later. When the clamp is inserted into the main body and the rope ends are positioned, the nuts can be tightened to press the clamp firmly against the main body. Removal is no longer possible, only if the nuts on the rope clamp are loosened again. So it can be said with certainty that a rope clamp is one of the safest holding devices that can best secure rope clamps by the pressure built up. The resulting static friction caused by squeezing without damaging the wire rope is the guarantee for a safe connection of wire rope clamps by wire rope clamps made of steel and also of stainless steel. Only two types of wire rope clamps are available on the market. On the one hand it is the normal steel which can be nickel-plated or for better applications the stainless steel in V2A or V4A. So the choice of material for the cable clamps depends on the particular application where wire ropes must be held together by rope clamps.
Our stock program of rope clamps - buy online in our online shop
In recent years, rope clamps have become increasingly popular with a growing fan base, and the number of rope clamps required and installed has grown steadily. Due to the fact that ropes are being used more and more often, whether indoors or outdoors, the demand for stainless steel rope clamps is constantly increasing. The production of rope clamps made of stainless steel or steel
Two manufacturing processes are used in the narrower sense for the production of rope clamps. The first is the edging of sheet metal base bodies where the rope clamps can work and can be securely clamped by a threaded rod through a sheet metal plate. The second type of rope clamp is the cast form of a rope clamp. In this form, the base body is cast from steel or stainless steel and secured by a round steel bracket which is inserted through the base body. We would like to start with the production of rope clamps that are valid as known version. For this purpose, laser machines are used first, which can laser out the basic bodies. In the further process the folding bench is used, which can edge the wings up. But the basic body contours can also be produced by a pressing process. Once the basic body of these rope clamps has been manufactured, the centre bolt can be welded on. If the cover is added, the rope clamp is finished and can be stored in our warehouse. In the further manufacturing process, as it is done in the casting process, we would like to take a closer look at the basic bodies of rope clamps. First of all, a negative mould must be produced. This is then produced in a wax lost process. Once the mould of the lower part is finished, this piece can be dipped in a mud bath and then burned out in a furnace. If the temperature is now very high, the wax evaporates and the mud becomes very hard. If enough of such pieces are produced, they can be cast by pouring the liquid stainless steel or steel into the mould. After cooling, the finished rope clamp element only needs to be removed and inserted into the rope clamp lower element by the final assembly of the round steel bracket. Once enough of these cast elements have been assembled with the steel shackle, these finished rope clamps can be stored in our warehouse. If we receive an order for rope clamps from you, we can ship the goods to you.
