Socket Pins

Socket pins are easy to use because they can simply be inserted through the collar into a hole. So these elements also run under the rubric of maritime articles. So socket pins should also be made of stainless steel if possible.

Socket pins made of stainless steel are small, tiny pieces that can also have larger dimensions. These small, very important connecting elements are always bolt shaped and a stop collar is screwed in at the beginning. This stop collar on the stainless steel socket pin is ideally suited to be pushed into fork heads only until the socket pin strikes the collar. This effectively prevents the socket pin from being pushed further through the clevis. One direction is already limited. At the other end of the socket pin there is a transverse through-hole. This cross hole on the socket pin is used to attach a securing element. This is usually a stainless steel pin that is pushed through the cross hole until it strikes the eyelet and then the two "wires" of the pin simply bent outwards, one wire is bent in each direction and the other wire in the other direction. The two wires are then neatly wrapped around the bolt. This type of securing for socket pins made of stainless steel is called a releasable connection. Our stock program of various socket pins - Buy online in our online shop

Socket Pins Stainless SteelIt has been some time since we included the very interesting bolts with the collar in our Lifer program. The time has passed quickly, but since the bolts are available online, we have delivered many thousands of units to the industry and to the model maker. That makes us very proud. Stud bolts made of V2A or V4A are today very important connecting elements and connect galbe heads with push rods or many other things. So our customers have quite simply the possibility to buy their socket pins quite simply through our online shop at a good price and to receive your delivery quickly. In order to make the purchase on our website even more secure, we have decided to convert the entire Internet presence to the encrypted SSL certificate. That has no disadvantages, but exclusively advantages, from which you can profit as a customer. Your sensitive data can therefore no longer be tapped so easily if your order hits our merchandise management system with the pins. In this course we would like to inform you immediately how an order process in our shop can proceed exactly, since we still receive inquiries regarding this. First of all, create a customer account on our online shop. If you have entered your data, then you look for all your desired products together and put these into the shopping basket. If this section of the order is finished, you go on about the cash button and select your desired payment. By confirming the payment, the order confirmation can now be sent. Then your order will be processed immediately in our warehouse and handed over to the transport company. After a few days your order with the pins should arrive safely.

Which different stainless steel socket pins are available?

Socket Pins Stainless SteelThere are many different dimensions of stainless steel socket pins. We have the following diameters and lengths in our range: the socket pin 4x14 mm, the socket pin 4x19 mm, the socket pin 5x15mm, the socket pin 5x18mm, the socket pin 5x21mm, the socket pin 6x15mm, the socket pin 6x20mm, the socket pin 6x25mm, the socket pin 6x29mm, the socket pin 6x36mm, the socket pin 6x45mm, the socket pin 8x21mm, the socket pin 8x24mm, the socket pin 8x27mm, the socket pin 8x32mm, the socket pin 9,5x26mm, the socket pin 9,5x30mm, the socket pin 10x30mm, the socket pin 11x30mm, the socket pin 12x30mm, the socket pin 15x41mm. Socket pins with stainless steel collar and bore have been designed for a wide range of applications. However, the socket pins are used and installed everywhere in the economy, that means naturally most in the industry, as in mechanical engineering, the construction of structures, the construction of jigs and fixtures in the food industry and of course in the stop technology (in hooks to fasten chains) and of course in model making, in order to make true to original replicas possible. But also more and more in the private sector are socket pins, especially in stainless steel not to be excluded anymore. How is a socket pin actually constructed? In principle it is a pin which has a washer, a so-called collar, at the end which serves as a stop when the socket pin is inserted into the holes provided for it. In order to secure the collar bolt sufficiently, there is a cross hole at the beginning of the socket bolt with stainless steel collar. This is used as a safety hole to finally secure the pin with collar so that it cannot slip out or fall out again. A cotter pin is used primarily for this purpose. This is then inserted through the cross hole until it rests against the "loop" of the cotter pins and the protruding ends are placed to the left around the pin and to the right around the pin (bent). Now the stainless steel pin is sufficiently secured with the collar. Many people place a washer between the cotter pin and the component to be secured so that the cotter pin does not rub directly against the component. Socket pins made of stainless steel are available in many sizes and different lengths. So the smallest we have in our assortment is 4 x 14 mm and the biggest pin with collar is 15 x 41 mm. So all imaginable intermediate sizes are also available. The stainless steel is mostly V4A to enable the use at sea or salt water and to completely exclude corrosion.
