Threaded Rods

Threaded rods are longer threaded rods. With such threaded rods, it is possible to securely connect thicker components or components with a distance between them. For the sale of threaded rods the material selection steel or stainless steel is always available.

Threaded Rods Stainless Steel V2A V4AThreaded rods in the most diverse materials, such as stainless steel in V2A or V4A or in structural steel, are not only used in industry, but also increasingly in private construction areas due to their flexible use. Whether you want to connect squared timber flexibly and quickly or covers on hoods. We always have, too, so threaded rods made of stainless steel are more and more frequently found in the boat sector for quick fixings. These are fastening elements which are usually 1 meter long, there are also 2 or 3 meter threaded rods which can be adapted and cut to length quickly and easily to the requirements of the component or workpiece to be fastened. In principle, threaded rods are long screws without screw heads. Because if you turn a nut on a threaded rod made of stainless steel, you almost have a long screw again. Screws are only ever available in fixed lengths and never so long that you would reach one meter. This is exactly where threaded rods made of stainless steel fill the gap that remained until the threaded rod was invented. Threaded rods have become indispensable, especially in machine construction companies or special machine construction companies. They can be used as support elements for cable trays or special and easy to build supports of any kind. The nuts that can be flexibly attached to the threaded rods allow distances or distances of long distances to be bridged and precisely adjusted. This is achieved quite simply: by turning the two nuts on the threaded rod towards each other or by extending the distance. This creates different distances which can be readjusted quickly and repeatedly. Our delivery program of threaded rods made of stainless steel V2A or V4A - buy online in our Online Shop

We stock many different threaded rods and threaded pins made of V2A or V4A stainless steel to quickly supply industry and private customers with the right thread sizes and alloys, which are used and required thousands of times a day. Our stocked rods include thread sizes from M2, M3 via M4, M5, M6 to M8 to M10 and M12 as well as M14 and M16 to M20 via M22 to M24 via M27 and M30. We carry threaded rods made of stainless steel V2A as the smallest thread size M3 up to the largest threaded rod M48. The same applies to threaded rods made of stainless steel V4A and here too the smallest available thread size is M2 up to the largest thread size M36. Of course all intermediate sizes are also available for both alloys. In order to assemble your threaded rods and to buy cheaply in our online shop, please put the desired articles into the shopping cart and fill it until all articles are available. Then go to the checkout to make the payment with your desired bazaar type and after successful payment you will be redirected back to our online shop. You will then automatically receive an order confirmation by email. After we have received your order, the goods will be assembled in our warehouse and prepared for shipment to you. In a few days you will then receive your desired delivery by mail.

The assembly of threaded rods

Threaded Rods Stainless Steel V2A V4AWhen you have received the ordered threaded rods from us, you can immediately use and process them for your building project. Unpack the ordered rods from their packaging (usually a long square box). Now take a close look at the places where you would like to fix two squared timbers together, for example in a stainless steel frame. Place the beams on top of each other so that you can drill the two through holes through and through with a hand drill. Now measure the length of the squared timber and calculate enough length for washers and nuts on both sides. Cut off the threaded rod using a flex and deburr it. Now you have the big advantage that the drillings also align immediately, that the threaded rods made of stainless steel can be put through directly and without pressure. But before you put the drill hole into the square timbers. Measure the outside diameter of the ordered threaded rod and use a drill that is 1-2 mm larger. Once the hole has been drilled in the squared timber, always place washers or the larger stainless steel K-washers first over the threaded rod on the squared timber on both sides and turn the appropriate hexagon nuts or lock nuts over them. Now tighten the nuts so firmly that the squared timber is very firmly connected to each other. The assembly of the threaded rod as a fastening element is now complete.

The production of threaded rods from steel or stainless steel (V2A or V4A)

Many questions arise again and again, how threaded rods are actually manufactured to achieve such a stable form and at the same time withstand extreme ballast. It must be said that there are two manufacturing processes for threaded rods. The first is to produce a threaded rod on a machine where a raw round material is clamped and this rod made of metal is continuously cut by means of a thread cutter. This is the very inexpensive way of manufacturing threaded rods, because as simple as this variant is, it is not loadable and also tends to quickly "seize" hexagon nuts and in principle weld together with the thread when the nut to be tightened is loaded. This is because the cut thread is very rough from the structure and the longitudinal fibres are interrupted by the pulling of the raw material while cutting the thread. This reduces the load on each individual thread flank and ultimately the flank tends to tear out quickly. The second and very high quality manufacturing variant is that the threaded rod is rolled. In this process, a 1/3 thicker raw rod or raw material is inserted into an automatic rolling machine and brought together by two thread rolls with extreme pressure. In the thread rolls the thread structure is deposited in a hardened roll material. By moving the rolls together, the material is rolled into shape until the correct thread fits in the diameter. Through this manufacturing process, the fibres of the raw material are not cut, but rolled and shaped. This gives the fibres a smooth and clean thread structure and the flanks are smooth so that a hexagonal nut can be screwed over it without "seizing" or welding to the thread under load. The total load on the threaded rod is many times higher than with the cheaper manufacturing method.
