The manufacture of bushings or spacer rollers or spacer rings bzw. spacer sleeves?

We would like to give you some more knowledge about how such metal sleeves are manufactured and how they can be delivered to the customer via our online shop. Basically one must say that all metal sleeves, which are made of steel or stainless steel or aluminum, are actually always turned on so-called automatic lathes or bar machines. The machine always has a chuck and a chisel which can process and cut the metal sleeves. Behind the lathe there are mostly bar feeders, which make it possible to insert long raw material bars made of stainless steel, aluminium or other raw materials. These are then automatically loaded into the machine via unmanned operation and the spacer sleeves made of metal can be manufactured. The holes must always be drilled first and the bevel must be applied at the same time. Then the sleeve is tapped off and a chamfer is turned on the opposite side. The surface can then still be treated, such as a ground metal sleeve. The spacers are then sent directly to our warehouse and can be sent to you, the customer.

A lathe is completely unsuitable for the production of plastic sleeves. Because the effort to use this material is not feasible with a lathe. These plastic sleeves> are manufactured exclusively using the low-cost injection moulding process. This means that the plastic sleeves are pressed into a mould in an injection moulding machine by injecting liquid plastic. After cooling down, the mould can be opened and the desired plastic roller falls out of the mould. All dimensions and bores are determined by the injection mould. Also the chamfers on both sides are already present and the distance roller can be directly in our warehouse and then via the online shop to you in the sale.
