A carabiner hook with thimble made of stainless steel, mostly also made of V4A and have the same construction as the carabiner hooks in the basic version. These snap hooks also have a locking pin with a joint incorporated, which closes automatically by means of a spring. The outside of the carabiner hook is high-gloss as usual to achieve a smooth surface and to offer no attack for corrosion. The extension of this snap hook is that it is equipped with a fixed thimble (sits very tightly pressed in). This makes it easy to attach this snap hook to ropes. The ropes are then led through the thimble and knotted to the incoming rope. The snap hook cannot get lost, because the thimble holds the rope and is firmly pressed with the snap hook. Here, too, notches are worked into the locking pin, which do not allow any tensile loads after closing the carabiner, so that the carabiner would bend open. Chains, rings and eyelets can also be attached to this carabiner hook. The smallest version in the group is 5 x 50 mm and the largest or heaviest is 13 x 160 mm.Asymmetric carabiner hook V4A stainless steel
An asymmetric snap hook V4A stainless steel are snap hooks that have a very specific shape to be useful for very specific applications. Due to the very wide shape at the bottom of the asymmetric carabiner, it is designed for straps and straps to connect wide fasteners to the carabiner. The carabiner, which is determined by its asymmetrical shape, has, as already mentioned, a wide design on the underside and a standard round shape on the top, where ropes or chains or chain links or cords can be attached. The surface is high-gloss, so that no corrosion can take place. The snap hooks (asymmetrical) are very suitable especially for use on ships, boats and yachts as boat accessories and are used thousands of times a day as spare parts. The karabiner has a locking pin which secures the attached parts against slipping out. This is usually secured with a spring so that when it is open, it always closes by itself and thus does not remain open accidentally. We stock different sizes of this asymmetrical snap hook in our warehouse. The smallest carabiner is 6 x 60 mm up to the largest 11 x 120 mm.Carabiner hook with lock nut
The snap hook with locking nut, made of stainless steel V4A and therefore extremely saltwater resistant, has a round shape at both ends of the snap hook. This means that ropes, chains or hooks or emergency links or cords can be hooked in and the snap hook becomes a safety element which joins two previously individual parts together to form a secure connection without the need for tools. If required, the connection can be made quickly and can also be quickly separated again. The stainless steel locking nut built into this model is additionally screwed over the second part of the karabiner after closing simply via a thread. Thus an unintentional removal is no longer possible. Especially when ropes have to hold sailcloth on boats or yachts, for example, vibrations often occur when the wind passes through. Here the lock nut provides for the durable lock. The surface structure is again very resistant. In boat accessories, snap hooks with locknuts have now become a permanent feature. In our shop we offer a wide range of sizes for this group of karabiners with locknuts. The smallest has a size of 5 x 50 mm and the largest 11 x 120 mm.Carabiner hook with locking nut and thimble
The carabiner hook with locking nut and thimble made of stainless steel V4A is the same as the basic carabiner hook with locking nut, but with a small extension of the construction of the carabiner. Because with this model a thimble is additionally pressed in, which permits a safe admission of ropes and/or cords, without these can fall out if the carabiner is once opened. So the carabiner can never accidentally fall into the water on boats or yachts. The thimble consists of a sheet metal ring which is curved out on both sides and thus allows a secure fit inside the karabiner head. As always, the surface is high-gloss and extremely resistant to salt water. These karabiners have become indispensable in yachts and boat accessories. Furthermore, this carabiner also has a locking pin, which is usually equipped with a return spring to ensure safe closing. Furthermore, locking notches are worked into the locking pin which secure the locking pin with the carabiner in such a way that it can never bend open under tensile load. We have this type of carabiner in stock in a wide range of sizes. The smallest is 6 x 60 mm and the largest available is 11 x 120 mm.Carabiner hook with bracket
What is a carabiner with a bracket? Some mails have already reached us about this question and for this reason we would like to explain it briefly. The snap hook with bracket is completely made of stainless steel wire. It is bent into the shape of a karabiner. The carabiner hook has a bent thimble on the upper side which can be hooked into the ropes or emergency links of chains. This also prevents the chains or emergency links from slipping out if the shackle or shackle spring is opened once. A special feature of this snap hook with bow is the bow spring, which has a slightly different structure than a normal snap hook, which has a fixed locking pin and the same material diameter as the basic snap hook. The bow spring is designed to have a high preload, because the wire of the bow allows this. Also here, the closed bow spring snaps into the opposite notch after snapping, so that the bow spring sits firmly and the snap hook does not tend to bend open even under load. The material is V4A stainless steel and the high-gloss surface makes it suitable for use at sea. Special emphasis is placed on saltwater resistance. There are many different sizes of these hanger carabiners in our stock, the smallest is 6 x 60 mm and the largest has a size of 10 x 100 mm.
Carabiner hook with large opening
As the name suggests, the carabiner's construction is chosen so that it has a larger opening angle than, for example, a basic carabiner. However, the outer shape is very similar to the previous karabiner types, such as the carabiner with thimble or the karabiner with locknut. With the snap hook and the large opening, the locking pin on this model is slightly longer so that it can move further inwards and the opening angle is larger until the locking pin touches the rear. This is also usually equipped with a return spring, which safely prevents accidental opening. This snap hook also has a highly polished surface and can withstand all weather conditions, whether on a boat or directly in salt water. On both sides the snap hook is laid out with a round form, so that it can also hold ropes and cords well without chafing them through. We have different sizes of this model with the large opening in our stock. The smallest snap hook with a large opening is 8 x 80 mm and the largest version is 11 x 120 mm. Of course, intermediate sizes are also available here.
Safety carabiner hook with stainless steel lock
A safety carabiner hook with stainless steel ratchet is a very special carabiner hook. On the one hand it is completely made of one piece. This means that it is manufactured by investment casting and must be guided through complex manufacturing processes until these finished models see the light of day. By the casting process - quasi from one piece - the carabiner with lock is highly loadable and by the second safety bar it leaves nothing to be desired. How is this model opened? In order to open the snap hook, the first step is to unlock the second safety bar with the index finger, because this bar only allows the main lock to be opened. If the transverse safety bar is now pulled back - unlocked - then the main lock can be opened. If ropes, chains or other stops are attached, simply release the main safety catch and it closes. Then the second transverse safety bar - lock - locks automatically and engages. A so-called double safety catch. Ropes find their place in the integrated thimble. The surface of this model is polished and made of V4A stainless steel. This makes the snap hook absolutely resistant to salt water. The safety carabiner hook with lock made of stainless steel is available in the following size 10 x 110 mm.
Carabiner hook asymmetrical with thimble
An asymmetrical carabiner hook with thimble has two asymmetrical leg lengths. This type of karabiner is shaped in such a way that one side has a round shape and the opposite side has a flat shape. Similar to the karabiner, it is asymmetrically constructed from stainless steel. The snap hook with the pressed-in thimble secures ropes, cords or flat straps in such a way that they cannot get lost once they have been pulled through the thimble. This means that it has become a captive snap hook with a thimble. The locking pin has a standard length and can be opened quickly by pressing it. The built-in spring ensures that the locking pin simply returns to the basic setting when released. This carabiner type also has an integrated notch on the locking pin as well as on the carabiner in order to sit securely when engaged and not to deform under axial load. The surface of this thimble carabiner is high-gloss and made of stainless steel V4A and is therefore designed for use in seawater. The carabiner hook with thimble in asymmetrical shape made of stainless steel is available in several different sizes for the correct application. The smallest in this class is 6 x 60 mm and the largest is 11 x 120 mm.
Carabiner hook with thimble made of stainless steel
A carabiner hook with thimble made of stainless steel in V4A is equipped with a locking pin with a spring to snap automatically after opening when releasing again quickly. The hook karabiner made of stainless steel is made of a round steel, which is completely polished and therefore has a beautiful feel. The smaller radius on the hook karabiner is for threading ropes and or for holding chains or chain links. In addition, a thimble is incorporated in this karabiner to safely hold ropes and chains as well as emergency links, so that the karabiner with thimble can never get lost. The opposite end of the karabiner is equipped with a radius of comparable size for easy attachment to tarpaulins and canvas with eyelets. A notch has been worked into the locking pin, which can be moved freely, at the stop, so that the locking pin runs counter and locks at the same time. It is this notch that prevents the carabiner hook from being overloaded with a thimble, so that the carabiner body could bend open. This carabiner (as hook) with thimble made of stainless steel is available in many different sizes, so that the smallest carabiner has a size of 4 x 40 mm. The largest karabiner is 12 x 140 mm.Stainless steel snap hooks
Actually snap hooks made of stainless steel in V4A in cast version also belong to the big family of carabiners. This is actually undisputed, as the construction of the karabiner as a snap hook already shows. So what is a snap hook? A snap hook made of stainless steel is designed to make connections very quickly, i.e. snapping. The karabiner snap hook is equipped with a double-track spring steel wire made of stainless steel as a safety device. The formed spring is relatively strong, so that the opening has to be done with some resistance. If the snap hook is now engaged, the spring bow snaps shut quickly and immediately and secures the karabiner. The snap hook is made of one piece. This means that it was produced by investment casting and then hand polished. Furthermore, the snap hook has an integrated thimble, which is firmly cast on. Ropes and ribbons can be sprung through to fasten the hook. The shape of the snap hook would look like a hook without the spring. We have several different sizes to choose from in our range of hooks. So the smallest snap hook made of stainless steel V4A is available in a size of 50 mm. The biggest hook is 100 mm. Further intermediate sizes are of course also available.
Carabiner hook special design made of stainless steel
The carabiner hook special version made of stainless steel is equipped with a very special feature, which does not really catch the eye at first sight. Only at second glance you can see that the locking mechanism is not a notch, as is the case with many other stainless steel carabiners, but a transversely inserted pin. When closing, this pin also reaches into the provided recess and locks the locking pin. Here, too, the locking pin is equipped with a spring to jump back into the closed position when released and to lock the carabiner securely again. The hook of the carabiner is also made of a very stable round stainless steel material and the surface is of course highly polished. This makes the karabiner a shiny, saltwater-resistant hook that can withstand any weather, no matter what the use. Ropes, chains or emergency links can be used or attached to the small radius to securely connect tarpaulins or sails of yachts or boats to the eyelets on the opposite part of the carabiner. In our stock you can find different sizes of these stainless steel carabiners, so the smallest is 5 x 50 mm and the largest and heaviest 13 x 160 mm. A true and powerful carabiner that can endure a lot! So you will also find other intermediate sizes in our shop.
Double Carabiner Stainless Steel
A double carabiner made of stainless steel is a very special type of carabiner. This carabiner is completely different from the usual carabiners, which we have already introduced to you in other articles. But what makes the difference? The advantage of this group of double carabiners is that two different combinations of attachments can be provided separately. This means that you can attach one side of the karabiner to the other and the carabiner remains untouched, regardless of what the opposite side does. This possibility is only possible because two independent locking mechanisms are used. Both locking mechanisms work separately and can be operated separately. The double carabiner is made of one cast part and is completely polished. This double carabiner is also suitable for use on boats and yachts, but these great pieces can also be found on bags by well-known designers. In our stock we have as always many different double carabiners in V4A stainless steel in some sizes, so that everyone can find the right carabiner for his application. The smallest in this family is 90 mm and the largest is 120 mm.
Stainless steel swivel carabiner
Swivel carabiners made of stainless steel are now sought-after carabiners because they score points with some advantages that others cannot offer. These advantages are a fast hooking of certain materials, such as key rings or other fastenings, because the lever can be quickly pulled against the spring resistance by the slide or the locking mechanism and then securely locked again. The small plunger on the swivel karabiner provides a very good grip through the finger when the lever is to be pulled upwards. Then the locking mechanism opens and the stainless steel swivel karabiner releases the ring for attachment. Now you can insert the key ring and release the lever again. Another special feature of the stainless steel swivel karabiner is the fixed, yet freely adjustable swivel on the carabiner. This is firmly connected to the carabiner by the connecting pin and can rotate freely. Thus ropes or cords can be integrated and the karabiner can turn freely around its own axis without the rope getting entangled. A great design, which benefits many customers, especially when the ropes are no longer twisted in applications such as boats and yachts. We offer stainless steel swivel karabiners in various diameters and lengths, so that everyone can find the perfect karabiner for their application.
