The round head screw is completely made of stainless steel and is semicircular at the head end. This makes the round head screw perfect for sinking into soft materials such as wood so that only the semicircular head protrudes. The square neck, which is located under the head of the pan head screw, presses itself into the soft material and thus prevents the pan head screw from twisting when the opposite side of the pan head screw is secured with the nut.
