Attention: up to an inner diameter of 70 mm the adjusting ring has only one stud bolt (DIN 705:2007-04)!
Today it is impossible to imagine machines and drives without adjusting rings. Adjusting rings are designed to ensure that axial displacements of components on shafts and axes can be held securely in the predefined position. The adjusting ring can then be pushed directly onto the component on the shaft or axis and secured by tightening the stud bolt. If you want to be absolutely sure, you can drill a center drill into the shaft or axle to fix the point where the stud bolt can engage when tightening. This measure ensures that the adjusting ring is absolutely secured in position. Adjusting rings are mainly used in industry or in fixture construction.
